Dancer + Creator + Teacher
This is me.
I am a contemporary dancer currently based in Mexico and the Netherlands but open to travel and live anywhere work and life wil take me.
In 2008 I was accepted at the Artez School of Dance, where I graduated with a BA in Dance in june 2012. Here I was trained to be a versatile, open minded, investigative, allround artist/dancer.
In 2009, after seeing me in a workshop with Hubbard Street Dance Chigago my current artistic director Tania Pérez-Salas asked me to join her company Tania Pérez-Salas Compañía de Danza, based in Mexico City. In may 2010 I joined the company and I have been a principal dancer there ever since.
In 2019 I joined Mexican company .de Inflexión and danced pieces by Kim Jae DUK, Rafael Abreu, Stephanie García and, a dream of mine, Itzik Galili.
I have worked with other companies and have been a part of beautiful projects and danced many challenging choreographies. I have done location projects in the pouring rain, danced pieced in (sometimes icecold) water, earth, ropes and on concrete. I have learned pieces in 2 days and have been part of new, full evening, creations. Opened runways and created sound effects for an award winning movie.
To sum it all up, I am a versatile dancer with an open, investigative mind and a strong, muscular and flexible body. I work hard, am a good energy to have in the studio and a great presence on stage.
Now, during the challenging times that we are presented with I try to keep sane, fit, healthy and ready to throw myself into whatever comes my way when the world is ready. Ready to sweat, breathe, move, jump, fly, sing, roll and capture audiences worldwide.
